Generous donations of a microwave, stove, bottles, cups and blankets warmly received by the safehouse mother bringing her to tears!!! We can and will continue to make a difference!
Impetigo is a widespread and largely misunderstood reality within the community! Although easily remedied, a lack of resources often leads to this condition being left untreated and/or being mistreated and therefore unknowingly worsened.Little Lambs reached out to our generous Sponsors who once again generously came to our aid. This picture is worth a thousand words…After only 2 weeks the condition has cleared up completely!
Little Lambs Colouring books / Crayons and baby packs handed out too 90 mother’s and children at Karl Bremer. Still amazes me that our baby packs are bigger than some of the babies!
During the course of last year we visited our crèches to help with basic games / educational skills. We were alarmed at how far behind the Grade R children are in terms of fine and gross motor skills. Some struggle with even themost basic of skills like catching a ball and holding a pencil correctly.
Since re-opening after the fire, it has been a whirlwind of events at Little Lambs. Our offices are now OPEN and we are up and running and stronger than ever. Thank you to everyone that helped us get back on our feet. Without the help of the volunteers and the loyal supporters, we would have never risen up from the ashes. Just 6 weeks until we close for the December holidays – super busy time for us. Please like us on “facebook page” and our “facebook group“, I use this as a platform for projects, needs, events etc.

Welcome to our first “email” newsletter. It has most certainly been a hard couple of months for us at Little Lambs, for those that don’t know, Little Lambs had a fire on our premises in May. This, unfortunately, has caused many setbacks as the damage was quite severe. Not only did we loose a lot of stock but the building was badly damaged. We are hoping to be up and running and, in full operation by the end of September. Click here to view mailer
Our hearts are broken as we let you know that there was a fire at our Little Lambs premises on 20th of May.
A downfall (literally) was when 2 bikers had what could of been a very serious accident, they went over the side of the mountain on the Franschoek pass, we are pleased to inform everyone that they are both doing well. Graeme cracked 3 vertebrae and Brandon has lots of bumps and bruises to show. We are just so thankful that they are ok and on the mend.
